SWIMMING POOL DUBNICA NAD VÁHOM

The goal of the proposed solution is to supplement and integrate into the emerging sports and recreation zone of the city of Dubnica Nad Váhom, the newly proposed area of ​​the municipal swimming pool in Športovcov Street, using the area of ​​the former municipal laundry.

The philosophical and conceptual starting points of the design are based on the effort to make economic use of the plot that is available and the optimal orientation of the swimming pool object to the cardinal points, so that the pool part of the swimming pool with its connection to the “summer swimming pool” has a southern orientation. That is why the swimming pool building is situated parallel to Športovcov Street, with maximum use of the width of the plot, which creates the possibility of obtaining more suitable parameters for the solution of the exterior – summer part.
